AQUAGOLD S.A. is an Ecuadorian company dedicated to processing and exporting the world’s finest shrimp.
We are part of the COPACIGULF SA business group, with over 20 years of experience in the distribution of balanced feed for shrimp, vannamei shrimp production, and aquaculture-related activities.
Packing Plant
Our Plant is located in Durán – at the heart of Ecuador’s shrimp industry.
Strategically positioned in the country’s shrimp farming epicenter, our facility is surrounded by leading production ponds and directly connected to the main logistics corridors that link us to all corners of Ecuador and its principal seaports.
Today, our state-of-the-art plant is fully operational, covering 100,000 square meters, with 20,000 square meters dedicated exclusively to processing. In just under six months of activity, we’ve achieved significant production milestones and continue to raise the bar in efficiency, quality, and sustainability.
We operate under rigorous good manufacturing practices and leverage cutting-edge technology: block freezing, semi-IQF, and IQF (Individual Quick Freezing) systems. These processes ensure that every shrimp processed at Aquagold meets the highest international quality standards.

Located in Guayas, Ecuador, the 22 farms of the corporate group sustainably and responsibly produce 170 million pounds per year. Covering 9,124 hectares, with 6,000 hectares holding ASC certification.
